Root Cause Analysis

Determining the root cause of a machine failure is often refereed to as Root Cause Analysis(RCA).

Typical root causes of failure in rotating machines are lubrication problem, alignment, unbalance, resonance, improper operation, poor quality of the machine, human error, overhaul or repair errors, bad bearing and poor electrical quality. By identifying and removing these typical causes, one increases the life and reliability of equipment.
